The festivities have died down, the husband has gone back to work and it feels like my first real day of winter break. I have been bouncing back and forth between two possible versions of myself this morning. One Jeannette says “Work on your 2019 marketing plan! Read that business book! Make product! Redesign the website!” And the other Jeannette says “I wonder how long it would take me to binge watch all five seasons of Ghost Whisperer?” π€ͺππ€·πΌββοΈπ€£ In the meantime I decided the best place to start would be breakfast that makes me feel a little closer to a few far away people that I’ve been missing a lot lately. A piece of my great-grandmother’s china given to me by my grandmother and Turkish tea glasses given to me nearly 23 years ago by my second family in Sweden. Also, the last of the leftover raspberry-chipotle jam that I made New Year’s Eve to pour over melty brie. It shall be made by the gallon in the future! #sogood #turkishtea #eggshellnautilus
